Nationals Day 3: 1st Day of Competing

Our day started at 6:30a w/ hair and make-up. Then down to the ballroom to check in for preliminaries.

Next up was Vivaldi Spring a ballet.

Now solos. Zoe competed 3. First was a lyrical routine to Silent Night. Here is Zoe and Callan stretching. 

Next was Sugar Plum Fairy a classic ballet number. Here's Zoe walking w/ Miss Grace to go compete. 

Here's Shely and Miss Grave talking to Zoe after Sugar Plum. Shely said Zoe looked like a pro and she couldn't ask for anything more. 

Last solo was Until We Bleed a modern number. Here's Zoe stretching before. 

Here's the girls prior to awards. Zoe got 2 Golds for Silent Night and Sugar Plum and a Platinum for Until We Bleed!

After solo awards Zoe competed 3 more group numbers with the Senior Co. Abraham's Daughter is a contemporary number from The Hunger Games.

Next was Under Ice a contemporary number about someone caught under the ice. 

And then was The Red Violin a modern number where Zoe is featured as the violin.  Hey I think that girl is checking out Zoe's butt. Hee, hee. 

All of the Shely Pack group numbers got Gold except Red Violin which got a Platinum!  Here is Zoe on the elevator going back to the room this afternoon. Although she was kidding around, she was whipped out! 

Finals start tomorrow and go through Thursday!  Lots more excitement ahead. 

Jordan continues to have fun w/ her cousins. They went to the Science museum today and then enjoyed a frosty beverage afterwards.

Brad is feeling lonely at home so did a 6 hour, 100 mile ride to Santa Cruz and back to pass the time.  Yee Haw!!
