Home! And Pictures from the DMA Competition Photographer

Great to be home after 10 days in a hotel. We never left the Gaylord Palms the whole time!  Who had time for that?!  Every day started between 6a to 7a ET and ended after midnight with some nights even much later than that. I feel so fortunate that my daughters were able to have such an amazing experience, (although not much sleep!). Memories to last a lifetime for sure!

Opening Number with all the contestants It was so great!  Very dynamic and high energy routine to Don't Stop Me Now. 

Zoe's lyrical solo to Stille Nacht. She managed to keep her nerves under control and nailed her opening scorpion without a wobble.

Day 10: Final Day and Closing Night Banquet

Saturday morning we slept in until almost noon!  We were all exhausted and sleep deprived. Great to be able to sleep in at least one day with no alarm clock waking us to do hair and make-up!

Spent a few hours at the pool before having a late lunch and getting ready for the party.

After the banquet and seeing all the new national title holders and winners from Grand Nationals perform, we went to an after party in Shely's suite to celebrate her final year as President of Dance Masters of America. She had a gorgeous corner suite with 5 balconies and lots of yummy treats along with wine for the adults!

Another late night getting to bed at almost 2am.  Needed to be up a 6am to catch our flight. Not much sleep, but par for the week. Can't wait to get home!
